Our Class Discussions
Hi Class ! Welcome to our Occupational Therapy Class Discussion Page. I am Mr. Meoli and I am your teacher. I have taught for 30 years ! Ok, Ok, that makes me kind of old, but not that old ! I have three children of my own who are all grown up now and almost done with college. I even have 3 step-children and 2 grandchildren ages 5 and 1 . Studying, Hmmmmmm. I still go to school and try to take new courses every semester, so I have to go home and study just like you do. Right now I am learning about technology, blogging, smart boards, inspiration, brochure-making and more, which you can help me with. What do I like to do for fun ? Well, I love the beach, the ocean, the water, canoeing, hiking, swimming, picnics, biking, reading spy novels and mystery novels too ! I also like to take trips to special places to see wonderful things. This year, we will be learning about making letters / numbers / words / sentences / even how to sit your letters and numbers on the line of your paper. Size of the letters and putting spaces in-between the words are other things we will be learning too ! How to draw, how to write your name, how to get your fingers stronger, and how to be more organized when we write and put things away in our desks, yes, these are some of the things we will be learning in O.T. YOUR TURN NOW ! Tell me about you and what you like to do when you are not in school ? What is your favorite subject and what is hard for you to do? What would you like to learn to do better in our O.T. class ? What activity or special thing would you like to do in our class ? I can’t wait to hear back from you so that we can discuss and share who we are and what we are thinking . You may even find that some of the things you want to see us work on or do in our O.T. class may actually be happening because you discussed it with me ! LET’S TALK !
